Only a few number of question types like single choice, KPrim or multiple choice (restricted) can be supported. But this requires a feasible solution for the lifecycle of a question (at the time being every question in a test is a destinct copy and could be changed completely which makes every statistic useless). Test item statistics focus on the use and the results of one question in several tests. We need a clear distinction between test statistic and test item statistic.Extended Test and Item Statistics: We generally appreciate the introduction of item statistics for test questions but we still see several open conceptual questions before being able to schedule the feature.

Gap syntax for editing this question type should not be re-introduced. The GUI should offer a split button with "insert text gap" as primary action and "insert numeric gap" and "insert select gap" as options of the dropdown. Cloze Question Gap Type Syntax: We appreciate the feature and schedule it for 5.1.We accept the usability fix for 4.4 and 5.0. The pseudo shuffling should be done for each test run separately (to avoid the same question order in different test runs). The installation instruction has to be extended and notify about the necessary settings for a possibly installed php suhosin patch.
